Asset Groups

To organize assets more effectively, you can create so-called asset groups.

An asset group is used to group individual assets from a single locality. An asset group therefore cannot combine assets from different localities.

If an asset is connected to a group, the icon of the assigned group is displayed for the asset.

Creating a new group

  1. In Facilities/Asset groups, click the "+New asset group" button and choose whether the group will be defined by selecting assets or by selecting asset types.
  2. Enter the asset group name.
  3. Select the locality.
  4. Set the display style (color and icon).
  5. Optionally add a short description of the asset group.
  6. Click Save to store the record.
