Work rules automatically determine who is set in Assigned To on work orders. A work order is a work request or an inspection that can have Assigned To filled in.

What are work rules?
Work rules automatically determine who is set in Assigned To on work orders. A work order is a maintenance object that can have Assigned To filled in — a work request or an inspection. If the system schedules an inspection for an asset and finds a suitable rule, it applies it and automatically fills in Assigned To on the inspection. The same applies to work requests when the requester does not specify Assigned To directly when creating the request.
