Inspection plan: Prediction outside weekends and holidays
The application now lets you exclude weekends and holidays from planned inspection prediction. You can configure this in application settings → Inspections → Inspection planning settings.
This adjustment helps you align planning with real operations and prevent inspections from being generated on non-working days.
Checklists: NFC verification and improved check step settings
Checklists now offer a new step type — verification using an NFC tag. NFC verification helps you increase control over processes and ensure they are performed correctly. We also improved options for changing the order of steps in merged checklists.
You can configure checklist steps and add NFC tag verification in application settings → Regulations → Checklist templates.
Power BI connector
You can now connect data from the application to Power BI and use it to create your own reports and visualizations. You will always have an up-to-date overview in the tool you already know and use.
If you are interested in setting up the Power BI connector, please contact us at helpdesk.olify.io.
Audit log and action overview in the application
Application users with administrator permission now have access to:
- a record of all user activity
- a security audit log with history and filtering options
This feature increases transparency, makes it easier to trace changes, and supports auditing in organizations with higher security management requirements. You can find the overview in application settings → System → Audit log.
Configurable Excel exports
When exporting records (for example, assets, spaces, inspections, buildings), a dialog is now available for selecting both basic and all extension attributes to include in the export.
This lets you tailor exports precisely to your needs.
Spaces: Update areas from drawings
You can now update space areas based on polygons from drawings uploaded in the application. This makes it easier to keep data accurate and up to date without manually entering areas.
Perform the update via bulk change in the Facilities → Spaces module.
Better support for iPhone photos in documents (HEIC)
We improved support for uploading photos in HEIC format (commonly used on iPhones), even when you upload them to documents in the application directly in unconverted form (.heic), for example from a computer.
Work requests: Automatic timer start when work request status changes
You can now configure automatic timer start for tracking time worked when a work request status changes (for example, "Start working on it").
Configuration is done at the work request type and specific status level in application settings → Work requests → Work request types.
This feature ensures more accurate time tracking and eliminates the need to start the timer manually.
Application-wide filters: Extended filters for nested entities
Application-wide filters now include nested entities and extension attributes.
For example, for a responsible person you can filter by company, and for assets you can filter by asset group, year of manufacture, and so on.
This gives you more precise and comprehensive data filtering according to your real needs.
Other minor updates:
- In the Preventive maintenance → Inspection plan module, filtering by whether an inspection is "default" was added.
- You can now edit your comments directly in the mobile app.
- The "Portal user" role can now be added to work request workflows. This lets customers (portal users) manage all work requests created within their company.
- In Work orders → "My work orders" and "My team work orders", the filter was extended with "Asset".
